The University of Glasgow African Excellence And African Partners Scholarship Application is currently open for interested applicants.

University of Glasgow African Excellence And African Partners Scholarship Application

The University of Glasgow is offering up to 15 scholarships for International students, alumni, or staff at one of the University partners in Africa, starting a 1-year programme, in any discipline for the academic session 2023/24.

Who can Apply for University of Glasgow African Excellence And African Partners Scholarship

  • Demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to a UK 1st Class Honours;
  • Hold an offer of a place for a 1-year postgraduate taught Masters programme for September 2023;
  • Have International fee status;
  • Be a student or member of staff at one of the University partners in Africa.

How to Apply for University of Glasgow African Excellence And African Partners Scholarship

  1. Complete all applications for admission via www.coe.edu/admission.
  2. Complete the Global Leadership Full-Tuition Scholarship Form (below).
  3. Submit a resume (below).
  4. Submit an essay response (below).

The College scholarship application deadline for 2023 is 3rd April 2023.

Additional Information

The African Excellence Masters Scholarship (and Partners Scholarship) is a full tuition fee waiver, this does not include financial support to cover living costs.

To be eligible for a Student Visa for the UK you must be able to evidence that you meet the visa maintenance requirements (currently £9,207 for students studying a 1 year Masters in the UK).

This is the minimum amount required.

The University of Glasgow estimate that it will cost you £11,200 – £15,300 per year to live and study at Glasgow, depending on factors such as your choice of accommodation and your lifestyle.
